The Baltimore County Public School Athletic Department has had an extremely successful fall campaign. Many local high schools participated in the Maryland Public Secondary Schools Athletic Association State Championships with hopes of bringing home a state title in their respective sports. The purpose of the MPSSAA is to promote and direct public high school interscholastic activities in order to assure that those activities contribute toward the entire educational program of the state of Maryland. The MPSSAA currently includes 199 public high schools, with almost 114,000 student-athletes participating in 24 sports. BCPS high schools participated in Cross Country, Field Hockey, Football, Golf, Soccer, and Volleyball. Congratulations to the state champions and runners up listed below.

*On December 2, 2013 the Baltimore County vs Baltimore City All-Star game was played in front of a great crowd at Polytechnic High School school in Baltimore City. The 2013 Baltimore County Senior All-Star team pulled away from the Baltimore City All-Stars in a highly-contested game in the second half, winning the game 38-20. Kenwood’s quarterback Jaleel Feggins was named the 2013 Baltimore County All Star Football Most Valuable Player. This marks the third consecutive year that the Baltimore County All Star Football Team has defeated its local rival.
